Ashingdon Youth Football Club, formally Ashingdon Boys Football Club, was founded in 1972 and is a Football Association Chartered Standard Club.

The Club is a well-established community based voluntary organisation founded in 1972 and has a good reputation for its standards and the manner in which it treats its members. It is affiliated to Essex County Football Association, the National Association of Clubs for Young People and the Essex Association of Boys and Girls Clubs.

The Club serves the community by providing youngsters, mainly from the Ashingdon, Hawkwell and Rochford area, with the opportunity to participate in football activities between the ages of 7 to Under 18 years regardless of race,  colour, and religion or gender orientation.  Its objective is the provision of facilities for youngster to participate in sporting activities regardless of ability.

Our grounds are at Cherry Orchard Lane where we have one 5-aside pitch, two seven aside, one 9 aside, two junior pitches, one senior pitch, training area, tea hut, toilets and changing rooms.
